Island Peak Climbing
This wonderful Island Peak trekking and climbing take you into the heart of Khumbu Gokyo (4750m/158840ft) and Everest Base Camp (5357m/17575ft). An ascent of Gokyo RI (5357m/19216ft) and Kala Patthar (5545m/18192ft) is good acclimatization and gives you magnificent close-up views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Makalu and more. You will cross the little use of Chola pass (5420m/17782 ft) and Kongma La Pass (5535m/18159ft); ascend one of the popular peaks of Everest regions. Island Peak (6189m/20305ft) is one of the main climbing peaks of the Everest Area. This name was kept in 1952 AD due to its striking location in the middle of the Chhukung valley, like an island on the sea of ice. It was renamed Imje Tse in the early 80 through its original mane is still more popular. Island peak has an impressive highly glaciated west face that rises from the Lhotse Glacier.
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu then transfer to Hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing & free.
Day 03: Fly Kathmandu to Lukla (2800m.) & trek to Phakding, 2652m.
Day 04: Trek Phakding to Namche Bazaar 3440m.
Day 05: Namche Bazaar rest for Hiking, acclimatization & explore.
Day 06: Trek Namche Bazaar to Tengboche 3867m.
Day 07: Trek Tengboche to Pheriche 4343m.
Day 08: Trek Pheriche to Lobuche. 4930m.
Day 09: Trek Lobuche to Gorak Shep to Everest Base Camp & back Gorak shep.
Day 10: Early morning hike to Kala Pattar (5555m) and trek down to Dingboche 4243m.
Day 11: Trek Dingboche to Chhukung 4800m.
Day 12: Trek Chhukung to Island Peak (Imja Tse) Base Camp.
Day 13: Climb Island Base Camp to High Camp 5500m.
Day 14: Climb High Camp to Island Peak summit 6198m. & back to Island Base Camp.
Day 15: Trek Island Base Camp to Dingboche.
Day 16: Trek Dingboche to Namche Bazzar.
Day 17: Trek Namche Bazzar to Lukla.
Day 18: Fly Lukla to Kathmandu then transfer to Hotel.
Day 19: Kathmandu shopping.
Day 20: Last minute, transfer to Airport for your onward journey.
